When buying a second-hand piano or selling your piano, understanding the instrument’s true condition and value is important knowledge. I offer two levels of piano evaluation.
Piano Evaluations
Basic Evaluation
- A general assessment of the overall condition of the piano, including action, keys, strings, bridges, tuning, pitch, and piano case
- Estimate the current market value
- Approximately 30 mins – 1-hour duration
- Includes call-out fee

Comprehensive Appraisal
- Comprehensive assessment of the overall condition of the piano, including action, keys, strings, bridges, tuning, regulation, pitch, and piano case
- Document any repairs needed and the approximate cost of repairs
- Provide comprehensive written valuation report including photos – ideal for insurance, tax donation, purchase, or resale value
- Approximately 2 hrs duration
- Includes call-out fee
